Our research focuses on developing novel dosage forms for, including HIV prevention and management of STIs. We have developed novel dosage for wound healing which entail encapsulation within nano particles, liposomes microparticles etc. Our approaches involve:
- Developing bioengineering methods to tackle drug resistant bacteria. Novel electrospun wound dressing materials with significant wound pH modulation ensuring enhanced biofilm clearance.
- Utilizing artificial intelligence, via artificial neural networks, and central composite designs in my drug development research
- Development of long lasting mucoadhesive electrospun scaffolds for intravaginal delivery of lactobacilli specie and metronidazole for management of bacterial vaginosis
- Pre-Clinical and Clinical Testing for topical drug products.
