As the Principal Investigator of the MEDAFRICA GMP Laboratory, I have extensive research expertise in novel drug delivery systems and the development of topical dosage forms including creams, hydrogels, organogels, and electrospun fibres. My work advances drug delivery in HIV microbicide development, non-hormonal contraception, cosmeceuticals, and wound healing applications. I integrate artificial intelligence tools, to optimize drug formulation and development. Beyond laboratory research, I am deeply committed to public health engagement, providing health information to healthcare workers and participating in medical outreach programs that serve underserved communities across Africa. My career reflects a balance of scientific innovation, translational research, and community impact, positioning me at the intersection of pharmaceutical science and public health advancement.
